UGC or University Grants Commission of India is a statutory body under Ministry of Education, India. It is charged with coordination, determination and maintenance of standards of higher education.
UGC established in the year 1956. Its head office is located at Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, New Delhi
UGC established six regional centres in India. These regional centres are located at Bangalore, Bhopal, Guwahati, Kolkata, Pune and Hyderabad.
